
Berlin/Osnabrück. Top-rate performances of German environmental technology and research as also innovative nature conservation projects will be shown in the park of Schloss Bellevue in Berlin from June 5 - 6, 2007: Federal President Horst Köhler invites in cooperation with the Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt DBU to the third "Week of the Environment". More than 180 companies and institutions give an overview over scope and scale of modern procedures, products, services and campaigns at the Office of the Federal President. Moreover, about 60 top-level panel discussions will be held.
Focal points of the exhibition are "Innovative Environmental Technology", "Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility", "Nature Conservation, Water and Soil Protection", "Environmental Communication and Education" and "International Environmental Cooperation". Further to the different event topics, over 60 top-class expert’s forums and discussion rounds with renowned representatives from politics, economy, science and society will tackle the future questions of environmental technology, research and communication.

The Federal President’s office demands high safety arrangements: A visit is possible only after prior registration and after a check of the personal details by the police.
